Reflections on career, leadership, and life in Europe.

Hey! So Glad You're Here.
Hi, I’m Hatice Demiran.
I work in healthcare transformation, focusing on how organizations adapt, evolve and innovate within complex healthcare systems. My background is in biomedical engineering, and over the past decade I have been building my career at the intersection of healthcare, technology and organizational change.
Originally from Turkey, my journey took a significant turn when I decided to move to Germany to continue my academic and professional development. What started as a plan to learn a new language and pursue further education eventually turned into a much broader journey.
After completing my bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, I moved to Germany and later continued my studies in Erlangen, a city closely connected to medical technology and healthcare innovation. Since then I have been studying, working and growing within international healthcare environments, collaborating with different teams and organizations across the MedTech ecosystem.
But this website is not only about professional life.
Over the years I realized that many of the most valuable lessons about career, leadership and growth come not only from formal education or job titles, but from real experiences, challenges and transitions.
This space is where I share some of those reflections.
Sometimes I write about healthcare, leadership and organizational change.
Sometimes about building a career across countries.
Sometimes simply about life, ideas and the lessons that come along the way.
Think of it as a place to document the journey.
Welcome.
Hatice Demiran
